Very knowledgeable and professional
Wendell was the technician who came to our house twice this week. He was very knowledgeable and professional, and helped accomplish the task in the time that he promised. He knew that I needed to leave at a certain time and it happened! This is not the first time that Wendell was here. He came last year on another task, and really helped me to understand exactly what was going on.
Exceptional AC Repair Experience
Derrick Arkadie, an HVAC technician with Service Experts Houston, came out to repair my AC unit, and the experience was exceptional. From the moment he arrived, he was professional, courteous, and clearly knowledgeable about his work. He took the time to thoroughly inspect the system, explained the issue in a way that was easy to understand, and walked me through the repair process before getting started.
What really stood out was his attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right. He didn’t rush through anything and made sure everything was functioning perfectly before he left. He also offered helpful maintenance tips to keep the system running efficiently, which I really appreciated.
It’s not often you come across someone who takes such pride in their work and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction. Thanks to his expertise, my AC is now running better than ever. I would highly recommend Derrick Arkadie to anyone in need of HVAC services.
My technician Paul Scott was outstanding
My technician, Paul Scott, was outstanding. He made me more knowledgeable about the system, a tankless system, and what my future needs might be on that system. He was very informative, very professional. He was outstanding. I wish more technicians were like him. Paul recommended that I have that service every six months because the residue was getting a little bit dark, and he had taken a little bit of a lot of calcium or rust, or whatever was drained out of the system. So, if I may request a cleaning in six months per technician, respectfully, I would like to have Scott. Thank you.

Always prompt and do a great job
I’ve used Church Services for several plumbing issues throughout the years, and they are always prompt and do a great job. Most recently, I had a great experience with Greg P., the plumbing manager, on identifying and fixing two leaks on my historic house. He was timely, polite, and did a fantastic job at identifying and fixing both issues.
Editing to add my most recent experience in April 2026. I had Derek first work on my AC to get it back running, and then to clean out and install a UV light. He did an excellent job and was very up-front and communicative throughout the process. 10/10 would have him back again.

Outstanding Service Technician
After my quarterly inspection, it was recommended that my 7-year-old system be cleaned and UV light replaced. Alex Alvarado was my service technician and was outstanding. He was very professional and accommodating with a can-do attitude. He took great care in cleaning and doing maintenance to our HVAC system and provided a thorough explanation of everything he did with a photo record.

Scott was very patient and helpful in understanding my situation as to affording a new HVAC system. He provided repair options vs. replacement which in my case (unit < 20 years old) was no longer an option. He looked at options as to in-house financing or the Advantage Program (leasing). Service Continues at a High Level
I had never used this business professionally... at least not until this coming Saturday, February 13th, 2021.
However, I have spoken with Rodger, who seems eager to represent and present this company in a positive light!
If the features, advantages, and benefits turn out, and ring true, as projected by Rodger, rest assured the “Google World” will certainly read about it.
If I was misled, “Google Readers” of business reviews will also have a virtual “earful!”
I have continued with this company (formerly Finch) for five (5) years of uninterrupted service despite name changes. It became Church Services and is now called Service Experts.
Whatever changes occurred, the service seems to continue at a high level of satisfaction.
Today, Saturday, March 14th, 2026, I had Technician Wendell Steen for my maintenance service. He is personable and easy to work with. As I did with previous technicians that appeared overly knowledgeable, I will from now on request Wendell’s return for all or any service issues!

Did a great job on my HVAC inspection
David Gonzalez came and did an HVAC inspection, something that is included with my monthly service plan, and did a great job. He identified two areas that I should fix, and fixed them the next day. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and reliable.
